The National Research Foundation (NRF) is a department within the Prime Minister's Office, and we set the national direction for research, innovation and enterprise (RIE) by developing policies, plans and strategies; funding strategic initiatives that strengthen our scientific and technological capabilities, grow our RIE talent base, and achieve economic and national impact; and fostering RIE collaboration in Singapore and internationally. Responsibilities Processing of grant disbursements submitted by recipients, ensuring that claimed items are fundable under the respective grant schemes and supported by proper documentation and approvals. • Process grant disbursements and payments timely and accurately, and in accordance with Instruction Manuals, grant guides, and financial policies and procedures. • Conduct sampling checks on selected projects to identify anomalies, such as non-fundable or duplicate items. • Engage grant recipients and stakeholders to clarify claims and resolve queries. • Monitor disbursement and payment status, and prepare timely submissions and reports for management. The incumbent will also take on any other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned. Requirements • Tertiary education in Accounting and Finance; • Proficient in MS Office Suite (e.g., Microsoft Excel); • Minimum 2 years of related working experience in a similar position; • Knowledge and experiences in grant disbursement processing as well as the use of WOG systems (e.g. NFS@Gov and Fi@Gov), Familiarity with RPA and AI tools are advantageous; • Good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail; • Proactive in problem solving and able to manage multiple tasks and portfolios in a dynamic environment; and • Able to work both independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
