Responsibilities You will be part of the Finance team that works closely with our stakeholders within MOT and MOT agencies to evaluate the business case and cost-effectiveness of various initiatives to support the MOT family’s transport policies and plans. These initiatives include mega transport projects with significant investment amounts that aim to achieve our vision for a world-class and well-connected transportation system both in Singapore and internationally. Your key role is to assess the project worthiness and ensure prudent use of public financial resources, include the following: • Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess business case and funding for Government projects; • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate prudent financial practices into the project funding and implementation process; • Perform business analytics and financial analysis, present key insights, and make recommendations to support decision-making; and • Implement and maintain robust governance controls to ensure compliance with the Government Financial Policies, regulations and best practices; and • Provide advice on project governance, budgetary and financial matters. Requirements • Qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or equivalent professional qualification • A self-starter who can work independently and be a team player as well • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities • Strong written and spoken communication skills • Good interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel will be an advantage
