ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, TACTICAL ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS Responsibilities The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is a statutory board under Ministry of Transport that spearheads land transport developments in Singapore. Many opportunities & challenges await those who are keen on an exciting career to realise our commitment to envision & implement an integrated transport system. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, highly motivated, passionate and qualified officer to join our Tactical Enforcement Operations team in ensuring safety and compliance on Singapore's roads and paths. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to work in a team to conduct targeted operations against motor vehicle and active mobility device users who violate rules and regulations. Selected candidates will undergo a 3-4 week course (including a written competency test) to gain the knowledge and skills needed to carry out their duties. Requirements • Knowledge in any discipline. Applicant with relevant experience in enforcement and operations could also be considered. • Possess at least a Class 2A licence • Physically fit (achieved a recent pass for IPPT), possess good eyesight and normal colour vision. Officer is required to operate the Authority’s motor vehicles and/or bicycles for duties. • Have a positive attitude, good self-discipline and ability to work independently and in a team • Good written, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary • Able to remain composed and problem solve under challenging circumstances • Able to perform shift and adhoc duties, including supporting major national events on public holidays. Irregular working hours can be expected. • Able to assume varied enforcement-related postings within the Authority • Must be able to communicate in English. Ability to communicate in another language such as Malay, Tamil or Mandarin would be an added advantage. As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
