Step 2 · The role
You are responsible for all safety-related matters for Defence Cyber Command, ensuring a safe and compliant environment. Responsibilities - Provide advice to Commanders on safety-related matters, including routine monitoring, inspections, audits, and safety education to all entities within the Command - Ensure prompt and effective dissemination and application of lessons learnt from incidents to determine causal factors and recommend appropriate preventive measures - Report on incidents, near misses, hazard reports, and safe and unsafe practices, and evaluate these incidents to identify causal factors and recommend and implement appropriate preventive measures Challenge(s) - Multi-tasking and working effectively in a fast-paced environment - Being comfortable to report confidently to senior management Requirements - Education in Safety related fields, with relevant professional certifications such as Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Certification or Certified Safety Professional (CSP). - At least 10 years of relevant work experience in the workplace safety - Strong leadership and decision-making ability Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
