Step 2 · The role
The Attorney-General’s Chambers is looking for a passionate and driven candidate with a keen interest in developing and implementing comprehensive talent management strategies, leadership development programmes, and strategic workforce planning initiatives. The candidate will drive organisational capability through competency frameworks and HR policy excellence to support business objectives. Responsibilities Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive reviews of HR policies to ensure alignment with best practices and compliance with whole-of-government (WOG) HR policies. • Develop and execute talent management and development strategies including identification, assessment and development of career pathways for high-potential officers across different levels of the organisation, as well as succession planning for critical roles. • Manage, implement, and evaluate leadership development programmes that build capabilities at all management levels. Execute WOG mentoring and coaching initiatives to support emerging leaders whilst establishing leadership competency framework aligned with AGC values and strategic directions. • Establish, maintain and regularly review AGC competency frameworks to reflect required competencies and skills for all roles and amidst everchanging business requirements. • Execute WOG’s career development initiatives (e.g. WOG Structured Job Rotation Exercise, Talent Attachment Programmes, Short-Term Immersion Programmes, GIG etc). Develop and implement AGC’s internal career development framework as part of overall efforts to boost officers’ career growth. • Work closely with AGC’s strategy and transformation team to conduct comprehensive workforce analytics for future talent needs and develop feasible strategic workforce plans to align human capital requirements with future business strategy. Develop workforce transformation initiatives to meet evolving needs and prepare AGC for future challenges. • Manage communication of critical HR information to internal and external stakeholders, such as policy implementation, strategic announcements, etc. Requirements Requirements: • 5 - 8 years of relevant working experiences. • Demonstrated expertise in policy review, talent management, leadership development, workforce planning and strong analytical skills with experiences in HR metrics and workforce analytics would be advantageous. • Good written and verbal communication skills, and stakeholder engagement with experiences in change management. • Strategic thinking and business acumen with ability to translate organisational strategy into HR initiatives. • Result-oriented, proactive and able to work well independently and in a team setting. • The successful candidate will be appointed on a 2-year contract in the first instance.
