Associate/Snr Associate - Performance Management (Policy and Reporting)

As part of our ongoing efforts to rotate and deploy officers to public agencies, AGD is recruiting suitable officers for deployment to the Performance & Evaluation (P&E) Directorate in the Ministry of Finance. The Performance & Evaluation (P&E) directorate in the Ministry of Finance is looking for dynamic and motivated team members to support MOF in enabling a high-performance government, through better value and accountability for public spending and outcomes. Responsibilities i. Policy and planning o Formulate and implement central frameworks and guidelines to strengthen performance reporting across WOG. ii. Report reviews and publication o Work with public agencies to review and produce Whole-of-Government (WOG) reports such as the Singapore Public Sector Outcomes Review Report. iii. Transformation and communications o Develop and implement strategies, processes and/or platforms to transform and better communicate government performance to external and internal stakeholders. Requirements Functional/Technical Competencies • Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or related disciplines • Background in economics and/or econometric, statistical analysis and data handling skills is advantageous • Proficiency in financial, accounting and governance standards, and/or programme/project planning and evaluation and/or audit experience is preferred Generic Competencies • Strong analytical thinking, ability to anticipate challenges, and good instincts including for actionable solutions • Ability to think out of the box and develop innovative solutions • Strong written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders at various levels • Self-motivated individuals with the ability to handle an array of responsibilities and follow-ups in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • A good team player You will be notified whether you have been shortlisted within 4 weeks from the closing date of this job posting.
