Step 2 · The role
The Corporate Services Division (CSVD) is part of the Corporate Group (CG), which provides essential corporate services to support SWDA’s operations. This role sits within the Finance function, ensuring robust financial management, operational integrity, and compliance across the organization. Responsibilities Reporting to the team lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities in the Financial Operations and Controls team: Responsibilities: • Perform Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including monitoring and reconciling grant disbursements, reviewing expense reports, supplier invoices, and journal entries. • Perform Fixed Asset functions, including assets management (additions, disposals, updates etc), reconciliation and management of fixed asset tagging and sightings. • Support Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure timely and accurate processing. • Assist in audits by compiling audit requests and review supporting documents extracted. • Assist in data and file migration validation to ensure accuracy and integrity during system transitions. • Act as a liaison between Finance and other divisions to follow up on and resolve outstanding items. • Provide support to the team on ad-hoc administrative or operational duties as assigned. Requirements • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Financial Operations and Accounting. • Proficient in executing job duties with required competencies. • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Able to work independently or as a team player • Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and accounting principles is advantageous.
