You will transform data from multiple sources into strategic intelligence to influence enlistment operations, uncovering trends and visualising insights that bridge data and action. Your work will empower stakeholders with compelling narratives that strengthen policy-operations integration and sustain support for National Service (NS). Responsibilities - Project enlistable resources and assess sufficiency of planned enlistment capacities - Analyse medical grading rates and incorporate these complexities into enlistment wait time projections - Forecast demand and slot sufficiency for Pre-Enlistment Individual Physical Proficiency Test (PE IPPT) and Basic Military Training (BMT) programmes based on past trends and Physical Employment Standard (PES) statuses - Monitor fulfilment of key performance indicators and recommend adjustments to strategies where required - Serve as a data consultant to help frame problems in ways that can be answered with data - Propose data-driven recommendations to aid management's decision-making Challenge(s) - Developing a comprehensive understanding of pre-enlistment operations and policies across multiple process areas to ensure accurate interpretation of data trends - Managing data integrity across multiple live source systems, including data merging, consistency of presentation, and awareness of potential timestamp desynchronisation Requirements - Education in Data Analytics or a related field is preferred - At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis roles, with hands-on experience in data handling, merging, and transformation - Proficiency in data analysis methods, data management, and Microsoft Excel - Experience with analytics tools such as SQL, R, Python, Qlik, or Tableau is advantageous - Strong ability to translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences - Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
