Step 2 · The role

You develop plans and solutions for cost-effective Building and Infrastructure (BI) management and Cookhouse operations, as well as lead the assigned Camp Operations Platoon (CoP) in ensuring effective delivery of camp services across the assigned camp complex. Responsibilities - Oversee feeding operations, ensuring effective, timely delivery and in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards - Maintain 100% readiness of critical operations facilities in the assigned camp complex - Ensure high readiness of facilities and associated equipment - Allocate and manage the BI maintenance budget for the assigned camp complex - Develop cost-effective maintenance solutions - Spearhead efforts to maintain operational standards and service excellence - Manage the administration and welfare of all personnel in the team - Liaise with other external stakeholders on camp complex-related matters Challenge(s) - Managing real-time camp service operations across both infrastructure maintenance and cookhouse functions, requiring quick thinking and decisive problem-solving while sustaining high service standards - Maintaining stringent and regular enforcement of contractor performance and ensuring strict compliance with regulations and finance procedures on a daily basis - Travelling daily by ferry is required, as the workplace is located on an offshore island Requirements - Education in Finance, Business, Operations, Facilities Management, Supply Chain, or Estate Management - At least 3 years of experience in management or team supervision, and in working with contractors and suppliers is preferred - Expertise in institutional estate management, maintenance, or catering is advantageous - Forward-looking, customer-centric, with a positive attitude - Possess good leadership and interpersonal communication skills - Adequate Information Technology (IT) knowledge - Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office applications Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
