You are responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of assigned spaces, facilities, and critical systems to meet mission, safety, and continuity requirements. You will coordinate with stakeholders to implement maintenance plans, monitor serviceability, and support emergency responses. Responsibilities - Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for assigned spaces and infrastructure - Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards - Monitor Building and Infrastructure (BI) system performance and maintenance history - Liaise with various stakeholders to align maintenance activities with operational and mission needs - Support units in finance and procurement activities related to maintenance and minor works - Monitor work orders and repair quality, and escalate performance issues to relevant entities as needed - Ensure critical facilities supporting assigned entities remain operational during disruptions - Maintain accurate asset and resource records and support audits - Facilitate the reallocation of underutilised assets to optimise resource utilisation Challenge(s) - Balancing timely maintenance with operational demands - Ensuring contractors consistently deliver timely, cost-effective, and compliant work - Responding swiftly and effectively under pressure to sudden infrastructure failures or disruptions that could compromise mission continuity Requirements - Education in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management or a related field - At least 3 years of experience in facilities management, construction or infrastructure operations is preferred - Meticulous with a keen eye for detail, particularly in identifying potential non-compliances in maintenance work and infrastructure conditions - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence effectively across different levels of seniority - Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and drive process improvements in a dynamic operational environment (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
