In MTI, you can expect an exciting and engaging career. Responsibilities You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for financial and accounting functions in MTI. Specifically, you will take on the role Finance Business Partner to our stakeholders, including MTI’s internal customers and /or Statutory Boards. You will provide advice and support to our customers on budgetary and financial matters to ensure that programmes are managed effectively, and financial resources used optimally to achieve the desired outcomes. You will manage an assigned portfolio with the scope of work which will include, but not limited to the following: • Evaluate funding proposals • Review and analyse budget submissions • Monitor budget utilisations/review cashflow projections • Review and process the disbursement of grants • Identify areas to leverage on technology and develop capabilities to improve work processes • Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned as part of staff development Requirements You should possess: • A relevant field of study in Accountancy, Business Administration, or related disciplines with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in business partnering, finance and/or budgeting • Ability to work independently and a good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management, as well as strong analytical skills • Committed, responsible, self-driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment
