Senior Executive (Financial Reporting)

You will join AGD’s Financial Reporting (FR) Directorate to help in financial reporting, financial reporting systems projects, and other related accounting reports. Responsibilities Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Provide user support for AGD’s central financial system, including leading system enhancements; • Manage helpdesk tickets lodged by users of the module to ensure the tickets are acknowledged and responded to on a timely basis; • Support the execution of improvements and upgrades to the assigned system module to improve user experience, and ensure helpdesk tickets lodged by users of the module are acknowledged and responded to on a timely basis in accordance with AGD-wide service-level KPIs; • Prepare monthly and periodic reconciliations with the use of automation tools and programming skills such as RPA and Python; • Perform ad-hoc requests from the users such as creation of cost centres, sub-accounts and account codes etc.; and • Be involved in any other assigned organisational-wide projects, including supporting automation initiatives and process improvements. Requirements Functional/Technical Competencies • Diploma in Accountancy, Business IT, Finance, or related discipline • Understanding of financial and accounting skills would be an advantage • Good numeracy and writing skills with high proficiency in using Microsoft Excel • Knowledge of automation skillsets like RPA and coding skills would be an advantage Generic Competencies • Strong analytical, problem solving and good communication and interpersonal skills • Meticulous, self-motivated and willingness to participate actively in various projects • Able to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision • Team player with positive working attitude and a strong mindset for learning and growth You will be notified whether you have been shortlisted within 4 weeks from the closing date of this job posting.
