The Engineer/ Lead Engineer of AI Solutions & Design will be part of a dynamic team that drives the engagement strategy with both internal stakeholders (such as Home Team Departments and HTX units) and external stakeholders (such as industry, academia, research institutes and foreign agencies) to promulgate HTX’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy across Home Teams. He/she will play a pivotal role in driving the engagement and collaboration between HTX and its stakeholders to conceptualise use cases in AI. He/she will also develop the conceptual design and solutioning to address the various use cases identified. Responsibilities • Engage with internal stakeholders (such as Home Team Departments and HTX units) to map out their operational needs and identify gaps/opportunities that can be addressed and aligned with the HTX’s AI strategy. • Work with internal stakeholders and translate their operational user requirements into high-level AI use cases and project plan that include the scope of work, business processes, existing systems & limitations, timeline and desired outcomes. • Develop and execute a framework that involve collaboration with cross-functional product and engineering teams for the prioritisation of identified AI use cases, considering criteria such as operational impact, technical feasibility and availability of resources. • Develop the conceptual design and solutioning, incorporating a mix of in-house products, outsourced commercially-off-the-shelf products, and/or co-developed capabilities with external stakeholders, that can address the prioritised AI use cases. • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the engagement activities and monitor the progress and impact of collaborations with stakeholders. • Prepare regular reports and updates on the engagement activities, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Requirements • Postgraduate / Tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, information systems or other quantitative/ analytical fields. • Minimum 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, business development, account management, or related field, preferably in the context of data science, AI, or technology-driven initiatives. • Strong interest in technologies and knowledge of AI/Machine Learning, Data Science and Data Analytics, with the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences. • Understanding and experience in at least one of the following skillsets: Design Thinking, Workshop Facilitation, Change Management, Project Facilitation & Management. • Strategic mindset with the ability to align engagement activities with the organizational goals and priorities. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. • Have a good understanding of Home Team Departments’ business and technical requirements will be an added advantage. • Applicants with more than 5 years’ relevant experience will be considered for more senior positions. • No experience welcome to apply.
