The opportunity We’re looking for a Strategy leader who thrives in complexity and can help shape GovTech’s next chapter. You’ll sit at the heart of our strategic engine — connecting dots across products, agencies, infrastructure, and people. This is a role for someone who can operate between the big picture and the weeds. You’ll help define how GovTech evolves: how we prioritise, grow our capabilities, and partner across agencies to deliver lasting digital transformation. You’ll work directly with senior leadership, influence group direction and your work will reposition GovTech as a world-class public sector tech agency. If you like writing measurable strategy, designing frameworks from ambiguity, and debating ideas that matter, we want to hear from you. [What you will be working on] • Strategist: Develop, refine, and drive GovTech’s strategic priorities at group, functional and programme levels. You believe in solving problems with sharp direction, detailed metrics and ambitious outcomes. • Storyteller: Craft sharp, persuasive narratives and analyses that influence senior stakeholders across GovTech and beyond. You understand who your audience is, what they need to know and the best way to convince them. • Operator: Run special projects that ‘fall between the cracks’ of functions, or wherever teams need extra leverage. We’re a lean team, so we need people who can 10x outcomes individually. • Arbiter: Bring best-practice into GovTech, whether it be technological developments or operating structures. Your role is to know what’s next before it’s too late.
