Learn more about GovTech at tech.gov.sg. [What you will be working on] • Shape MSF's AI transformation around business outcomes • Work with senior leaders and business teams to identify priority policy, service delivery and operational challenges where AI could deliver meaningful impact. • Lead problem discovery before solutioning, understanding user needs, workflows, pain points, underlying data and desired outcomes. • Challenge requests framed simply as "we need an AI solution" and help teams define the problem to be solved, outcome to be achieved and how success will be measured. • Identify opportunities to redesign workflows and operating models with AI, rather than simply automating existing processes. • Develop and maintain a portfolio view of AI opportunities across MSF, connecting related needs and identifying opportunities for reuse and scale. • Work with enterprise Product Managers to identify where AI capabilities should form part of their respective product strategies and roadmaps. • Assess AI opportunities within MSF product portfolio • Establish a structured product discovery and prioritisation approach for AI opportunities arising across MSF. • Assess opportunities based on business and citizen impact, user need, feasibility, data readiness, risk, scalability and effort. • Define clear problem statements, hypotheses, success metrics and target outcomes before significant technology investment is made. • Use experimentation, prototypes and proofs-of-value where appropriate to test assumptions and de-risk investments. • Determine whether an opportunity requires a new AI capability, can leverage an existing capability, or should be addressed through the evolution of an existing enterprise product. • Recommend which opportunities should be stopped, iterated, scaled or productised. • Drive high-impact AI use cases with the AI Programme Office and enterprise product teams • Act as the business-facing Product Manager for selected strategic AI initiatives, owning the problem definition, product vision, user outcomes and prioritisation. • Work jointly with the AI Programme Office, Product Managers, AI engineers, data teams and business owners from discovery through experimentation, delivery and scale. • Ensure AI capabilities are embedded within the relevant enterprise products and solutions wherever appropriate, with clear ownership, roadmap alignment and ongoing lifecycle management. • Translate complex business workflows and domain requirements into clear product requirements that technical teams can solve against. • Maintain strong business ownership throughout delivery rather than "handing over" the problem once technology development begins. • Define and track product metrics to determine whether deployed AI capabilities are achieving their intended business and user outcomes. • Identify reusable AI capabilities that can serve multiple products and domains rather than creating duplicated point solutions. • Work with the respective enterprise Product Managers to ensure successful AI capabilities transition into business-as-usual product ownership, operations and continuous improvement. • Enable responsible AI governance and adoption • Support the development and implementation of MSF's AI governance, evaluation and adoption frameworks. • Embed responsible AI considerations into product discovery and delivery, including appropriate evaluation, assurance and risk management. • Help business teams understand what responsible AI adoption means in practice and make informed trade-offs between value, risk and operational readiness. • Ensure AI capabilities are governed across MSF, rather than governance ending at initial deployment. • Surface common organisational, data, technology and capability barriers encountered during delivery and translate these into improvements to MSF's AI strategy and enablers. • Support leaders and teams in moving from experimentation towards sustained adoption in everyday work. • Build product thinking for AI across MSF • Coach business owners and teams in product discovery, experimentation, prioritisation and outcome-based delivery for AI initiatives. • Build a culture where AI initiatives begin with user and business problems rather than technology solutions. • Help business teams understand how AI may change the end-to-end workflow, rather than treating AI as an additional tool layered onto existing processes. • Strengthen collaboration between business owners, the AI Programme Office and business stakeholders so that AI-enabled transformation has enduring ownership. • Strengthen the connection between AI transformation and MSF's broader move towards durable, empowered and multi-disciplinary product teams. [What we are looking for] • Strategic Depth: 10+ years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology platforms or AI-driven digital transformations. • Technical Fluency: A strong conceptual understanding of AI/ML (LLMs, Agentic workflows, RAG, and Computer Vision) and the ability to navigate architectural discussions with Lead Engineers. • Systems Thinking: The ability to see the "big picture"—understanding how a single AI capability can be leveraged across multiple government domains to create a multiplier effect. • Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional ability to align senior leadership, developers, and non-technical stakeholders around a shared product roadmap. What we offer you: GovTech is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse voices and perspectives, as we believe that diversity is the foundation to innovation. Our employee benefits are based on a total rewards approach, offering a holistic and market-competitive suite of perks. These include leave benefits to meet your work-life needs and employee wellness programs.
