Step 2 · The role
As part of NSAS’s Strategic Communications & Special Projects team, the job holder will conceptualise, manage, and offer comprehensive support for NSAS’s key flagship events that are organised physically, virtually, or in hybrid format in Singapore and international markets. These events are strategically designed to advance NSAS’s vision and mission, through profiling NSAS and space in Singapore. Responsibilities • Conceptualise, manage, and offer comprehensive support for NSAS’s key flagship events that are organised physically, virtually, or in hybrid format in Singapore and international markets. These includes but not limited to: o Flagship or signature events, such as international and national level summits, forums, conferences, and symposiums o Dialogues, high-level roundtable discussions or fireside chats involving high level officials • Pursue effective partnerships for key events and platforms to ensure seamless event execution. This includes but not limited to: o Effective event management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-quality events, in terms of content and delivery o Operational plans including project execution timelines, manpower allocation charts, budget planner and expenses tracker o Manage external agencies and vendors while effectively maintaining and tracking budget utilisation o Work with Strategic Communications for creation of marketing and promotional collaterals o Expand database and networks o Post event summary reports, including updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future events Requirements • Minimum 8 years of related work experience in engagement and events, with proven track record managing large-scale events • Experience in financial management and government procurement procedures • Good stakeholder management and project management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
