Learn more about GovTech at tech.gov.sg. Developer Productivity and Service (DPS) is building a Central Product Marketplace, a single platform through which agencies subscribe, provision, and manage GovTech's central products. While the core marketplace engine (Console) solves for the final buying experience, agencies today have a challenge in determining which combination of central and commercial products best fits their problem, security posture, and constraints; the journey from discovery to a confident buying decision can take weeks to months. This is the gap the Evaluate experience is being built to close, starting with capturing an agency's problem context, proposing a stitched solution graph across available central products, explaining trade-offs neutrally, and deep-linking into onboarding. [What you will be working on] You will own a defined product scope of the Evaluate experience: the agency problem-context capture flow and the comparison/catalogue UX that lets an agency see and weigh its options. Right now, agencies have no structured way to state their use case, security posture, and constraints, and no reliable way to compare central and commercial products against them. Your job is to change that: giving agencies a fast, credible way in, and a clear, trustworthy way to compare, so they can move confidently towards a decision. You are expected to: • Own the agency problem-context capture flow, designing how an agency states its use case, security posture, data sensitivity, and stack constraints in a way that is fast to complete and genuinely useful as an input to the recommendation. • Own the comparison/catalogue UX, the surface where an agency sees candidate central and commercial options side by side, understands trade-offs (cost, complexity, lock-in), and can act on a recommendation. • Define feature-level success metrics for this slice, feeding into the Evaluate stage's broader North Star Metric once defined. • Work closely with the Product Portal and the Console team, so this product sits coherently within the wider discovery → evaluate → start onboarding funnel, rather than as a disconnected surface. You do this by: • Running structured discovery with agency CIO offices, delivery leads, and architects to validate what information they need to give and receive during evaluation, building on existing agency research. • Defining and validating the MVP scope for the context-capture and comparison surfaces before committing to build, working with your UX researcher and engineer to test assumptions early. • Curating the underlying product knowledge needed to power credible comparisons across GovTech's central products, partnering with individual product teams to keep this current. • Instrumenting the flow so completion, drop-off, and conversion into onboarding are measurable from day one. • Communicating progress and trade-offs clearly to Saurav and to central product teams whose products surface in the comparison view. You will ultimately be responsible for making the Evaluate journey the point where agencies stop guessing and start comparing with confidence. [What we are looking for] • We are seeking an independent individual with a strong grasp of product management fundamentals. • 3 to 6 years in product management. Years of experience are a rough guideline. • Has owned a feature or product area from problem framing through to shipped, measured outcomes, ideally in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders. • Strong product sense, particularly around problem framing, MVP scoping, and iterative development based on user feedback. • Comfortable working with ambiguity: this is a 0-to-1 space with no existing playbook, and scope needs to be defined as you learn. • Communicates clearly in writing and in person, comfortable working with agency stakeholders one day and engineers the next. • Prior experience with developer portals, product catalogues, or B2B/enterprise comparison and recommendation tools is a plus. What we offer you: GovTech is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse voices and perspectives, as we believe that diversity is the foundation to innovation. Our employee benefits are based on a total rewards approach, offering a holistic and market-competitive suite of perks. These include leave benefits to meet your work-life needs and employee wellness programs. We champion flexible work arrangements (subject to your job role) and trust that you will manage your own time to deliver your best, wherever you are, and whatever works best for you.
