Manager (Defence Trade & Tech Security)

You manage the implementation of MINDEF's defence technology security policies so as to safeguard Singapore's defence and security interests. Responsibilities - Implement MINDEF's defence technology security policies - Examine defence systems and technologies to assess transfer impacts - Collaborate with internal and external agencies - Carry out technical assessments of defence equipment and technologies related to non-proliferation and export controls - Conduct related analytical studies Challenge(s) - Keeping abreast of developments in strategic issues and current affairs that are related to export control and non-proliferation - Understanding the many facets of considerations of various stakeholders Requirements - Education in a Technical or Scientific field - At least 3 years of relevant experience in a technical or scientific field is preferred - Knowledge on export control - Good communication and writing skills - Interest in defence technology (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
