Intern, Strategy & Innovation You will support our team in converting ancillary data sources into 3D geospatial formats using industry-standard GIS software. Your role involves interpreting trial trench reports and survey plans, digitising this information into geodatabase formats, and ensuring data quality through established processes. This position offers hands-on experience in advanced geospatial data processing whilst developing technical expertise in 3D GIS applications and analytical decision-making skills. Responsibilities • Convert ancillary data sources such as trial trench reports and survey plans into 3D geospatial geodatabase formats using ArcGIS Pro Interpret and digitise geospatial information according to industrial standards, making analytical judgements where required. • Collaborate effectively with team members whilst managing individually assigned conversion tasks. • Participate in quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established standards . • Receive training in 3D geospatial data processing techniques and applications Requirements • Student pursuing studies in Geography, Geomatics Engineering, GIS, or related field • Prior experience with ArcGIS Desktop/Pro and QGIS software • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Adaptability and willingness to learn • Responsible and proactive • Able to commit full time from August 2026 to December 2026 / September 2026 to March 2027 / October 2026 to February 2027 for at least 3 to 6 months. • Please include your availability in your CV.
