You will be part of a dynamic team within the Technology & Cyber Risk Supervision Department (“TCRD”) in MAS that is responsible for overseeing and supervising financial institutions (“FIs”) in their cyber security and technology risk management (“TRM”) practices to ensure the resilience of Singapore’s financial sector. Responsibilities This role supports TCRD's mission by conducting ongoing surveillance and analysing risk indicators to monitor the technology risk posture of systemically important FIs in Singapore. The officer will be involved in the following areas of work: • Collect data and perform sense-making on risk indicators to obtain early warning signals of potential threats and vulnerabilities that may affect the technology risk posture of systemically important FIs. • Conduct thematic reviews and/or surveys on systemically important FIs to assess their technology and cyber resilience. • Work with internal stakeholders, other government agencies, and external partners on national-level or cross-sector initiatives to monitor and analyse technology risk issues affecting the systemically important FIs. • Implement tools and platforms to enable data analytics, data visualisation, and reporting of insights. Requirements • Effective team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities. • Highly analytical and inquisitive, with a strong interest in the latest technology/cyber risk trends and developments. • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Familiarity with industry frameworks, such as NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO/IEC27001, CIS Controls, and/or COBIT will be advantageous. • Experience in applying AI/ML and data analytics techniques to derive insights from structured and unstructured data. • Experience in designing dashboards, key risk indicators (KRIs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and executive reporting • Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) will be beneficial.
