The Assistant Director/Senior Manager plays a key role in ACRA's corporate communications and engagement team, planning and implementing strategic communication and engagement initiatives that effectively advance ACRA's regulatory mandate and corporate objectives. This role requires managing stakeholder engagement, overseeing executive communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels to reinforce ACRA's position as Singapore's business regulatory authority. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive communication strategies - Create integrated communication plans for registry, compliance, sustainability reporting, standards and sector development initiatives that achieve ACRA's regulatory objectives while ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and government policies. Coordinate crisis and issues management - Lead rapid response communications during regulatory changes or issues affecting ACRA's stakeholders, ensuring timely and appropriate messaging across all channels. Support stakeholder engagement programmes - Collaborate with divisions and professional bodies to design and implement targeted engagement initiatives for business communities, regulatory counterparts, and international organisations to strengthen ACRA's relationships and influence. Manage executive communications - Oversee development of senior management speeches, quotes, and presentations to stakeholders while supporting production of ACRA's annual report and other corporate publications. Strengthen media relations - Implement media strategy, manage journalist relationships, coordinate media activities, and ensure consistent public messaging that enhances ACRA's reputation and regulatory effectiveness. Develop digital communication content - Lead ACRA's digital presence including website strategy, social media campaigns, content management systems, and emerging platforms to maximise stakeholder reach and engagement. Manage team and vendor relationships - Coordinate with external agencies and consultants, manage project budgets, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines. Requirements Education and experience - Professional qualification in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field, with 5-10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or government communications. Core competencies - Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to work with senior leadership. Proficient in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems. Personal attributes - A team player who is independent, mature, and accountable for delivery of strategic communication objectives. Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.
