Step 2 · The role

Research and AnalysisData Analysis & Data Mgtcontractmid

Join MOM’s Data Lab as a Data Analyst where you will serve as subject matter expert on MOM’s data assets and drive evidence-based policy. The role is expected to transform complex data into actionable insights that shape Singapore’s policies and programmes. Responsibilities • Process and transform large, complex datasets through cleaning, fusion, and structuring activities • Partner with MOM departments and government agencies to deliver impactful dashboards, data visualisation, and data analytics projects • Acquire new data sets to increase data product offering and maximise exploitation potential; and • Oversee the secure and effective operation of the Data Lab. In addition to supporting Data Lab users on the datasets and analysis methodologies, you will also work with other MOM Divisions on a range of data analytics projects. Requirements • Tertiary qualification in any discipline • Demonstrated experience handling large datasets with proficiency in data transformations and merging • Advance Python skills for data analysis and manipulation • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) • Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) • Experience with data virtualisation tools (e.g. Denodo, IBM Data Virtualization) and cloud-based platforms (i.e. AWS, Databricks) is a plus. • Solid foundation in statistical analysis and data interpretation • Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions PWDs are welcome to apply
