Step 2 · The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to support the translation of behavioural and implementation science into real-world public health programmes at population scale. This role sits at the heart of HPB's Implementation Science department, where you will work closely with team leads and a diverse network of partners to turn evidence into impact. This unique opportunity allows you to shape how evidence-based health interventions are successfully translated from research to practice, directly contributing to national health priorities. Responsibilities As a key member of the implementation science team, you will drive real-world impact by: • Building organisational capability in behavioural and implementation science by managing and coordinating behavioural science consultant engagements • Working with cross-functional teams to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of flagship programmes, ensuring smooth translation from strategy to ground operations • Serving as a key connector between internal teams, community partners and industry partners to maintain alignment and momentum across complex, multi-stakeholder implementation projects • Capturing implementation learnings to inform future programme phases and contribute to the board’s evidence base Requirements Required Qualifications • Good degree in any discipline; backgrounds in public health, behavioural sciences, psychology, or related fields are preferred • At least 5 years of relevant work experience • Strong project and programme management skills with experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders in complex organisational environments • Experience managing end-to-end engagement with external consultants and vendors would be advantageous • Clear and confident communication across diverse audiences • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with ambiguity, with a collaborative and iterative approach to implementation Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract.
