Join PSD and be part of a team strengthening the quality and reliability of large scale HR and payroll systems used across government. We are seeking a motivated intern to join our HR Digital Solutions team as a Test Automation Engineer, where you will design, develop, and execute automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca for enterprise HR systems. Key outcomes of this internship are aligned with PSD’s digital quality and assurance strategy. As an intern, you will play a hands on role in reducing manual testing effort, improving regression coverage, and supporting the delivery of stable HR systems, while gaining exposure to industry grade test automation tools used in large enterprises. You will also explore the use of AI to enhance test automation, such as improving test coverage, identifying edge cases, and supporting intelligent test generation and analysis. Learning Areas Test Automation Development - You will gain hands on experience building and maintaining automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca and can attain Tricentis certification. Enterprise HR Systems Testing - You will work with Enterprise SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) modules such as Leave Administration, Claims, Personnel Administration, and Compensation. AI enabled Testing & Quality Engineering You will gain exposure to using AI to support test automation, such as identifying test gaps, analysing test results, and exploring intelligent approaches to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. Innovation & Problem Solving – You will gain experience designing and implementing creative solutions for complex HR challenges Requirements Requirements We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are considering a career in Information Technology and/or digital HR applications and have a dare-to-try attitude to forge ahead to achieve outcomes. Key Competencies Required An ideal candidate should possess the following: • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • Basic programming or scripting knowledge. • Analytical, logical, and detail oriented mindset. • Ability to document test results clearly and systematically. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders. This is a full-time internship starting in Jan/Feb 2027 and lasting for 6 months.
