Step 2 · The role
As the Manager under the Operations Implementation and Management (OIM) team, you will be responsible for providing the following administrative and logistical support to the team: Responsibilities • Provide operational and administrative support such as, pre-event planning, event day execution and post-event support to ensure smooth end-to-end conduct of events (these include and are not limited to outreach events, career fairs, virtual career events and workshops/seminars) • Provide targeted outreach to the database of individuals to proactively get them to participate in relevant events and activities • Manage vendors to provide logistics support, including pre-registration, onsite execution of event and post-event tracking • Monitor events’ performance, manage information and analyse trends • Organise after-action review to evaluate participants’ turnout, identify gaps, gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders, and propose areas of improvement Requirements Experience • At least 3 years of experience in event management, customer service, or a related field. Skills & Competencies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Strong organisational, planning, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software tools. • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering a positive stakeholder experience. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
