Step 2 · The role
The Professional Services Group (PSG) harnesses the expertise of the social work and psychology professions within MSF to strengthen policy development and service delivery. PSG drives consistent practice standards, enables evidence-informed interventions, and builds sector capability to meet evolving needs. Responsibilities You will be part of the Corporate Services team under the Practice and Operations Policy (POP) Branch in the SPI Division. In this role, you will be a key enabler of PSG's operational effectiveness — supporting administrative, finance, procurement, and resource management functions. Your key responsibilities will include: ● Prepare annual budget submissions, quarterly forecasts, block budget reviews, and MOF's medium-term project expenditure ● Analyse PSG's budgetary requirements and advising Divisions on budget policy requirements, timelines, and the implications of budget decisions ● Provide day-to-day corporate and administrative support across PSG, including manpower and human resource planning ● Review, develop, and improve PSG's corporate systems, policies, and procedures — including identifying technological or innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency ● Manage PSG's asset and inventory management ● Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests to ensure accuracy, proper authorisation, and compliance with financial procedures ● Guide PSG Divisions on procurement requirements and protocols, and formulate sound procurement approaches and strategies Requirements We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes ownership of financial and corporate functions that keep the organisation running smoothly. You should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, or an equivalent professional qualification, together with at least two years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Government financial management and procurement processes would be a distinct advantage. Ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English Ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong financial analytical skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
