You will support the Pulau Ubin Branch in implementing effective communication strategies that will raise awareness of initiatives by the Friends of Ubin Network, and work on developing engaging and experimental digital content to grow our online communities. Responsibilities Your responsibilities include the following: • Develop and execute a content strategy for Pulau Ubin's Facebook and Instagram accounts, ensuring consistent and engaging output • Create and curate original content including copywriting, photography, and short-form videos that showcase Pulau Ubin's nature, heritage, and community • Engage and build relationships with Pulau Ubin's villagers, community groups, and potential collaborators to source authentic stories and partnership opportunities • Monitor and respond to audience engagement on both platforms, growing an active and connected online community • Track and analyse platform performance metrics, using insights to refine content strategy • Coordinate with internal operations staff to align social media activities with on-ground programmes and events Requirements • Areas of study in Mass Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline • Strong writing, visual storytelling, and interpersonal skills • Active social media user, with strong understanding of social media trends and digital technologies • Experience creating digital content for different platforms, with basic photography and video editing experience • Ability to work independently and engage meaningfully with diverse community stakeholders • A genuine interest in nature, conservation, or Singapore's heritage would be a plus Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Successful candidate will be offered a 11-month employment contract.
