The Energy Market Authority (EMA) is seeking motivated and organised individuals to support Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2027. The incumbent will play a key role in VIP and Events Management, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of ASEAN-related meetings and engagements hosted by EMA during Singapore’s 2027 ASEAN Chairmanship year. The role requires strong coordination, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with government agencies, event organisers, and other local and international stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities What You Will Be Working On • Serve as EMA’s main liaison with relevant government agencies to facilitate hospitality and protocol arrangements for ASEAN delegates and VIPs. • Plan, coordinate and oversee protocol arrangements for VIPs, including seating arrangements, hospitality, transport coordination. • Manage and oversee the liaison officers supporting ASEAN meetings and related events. • Serve as EMA’s primary point of contact for appointed event organisers and vendors to ensure smooth execution of ASEAN meetings and events. • Track and manage event-related budgets and expenditure, ensuring prudent use of resources and proper record-keeping. Requirements Preferred Qualifications • Experience in public sector and events management will be advantageous. • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Meticulous, resourceful, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders and international counterparts professionally.
