Manager (Business Analyst) - Navy

You serve as the bridge between operations, technology and product delivery, translating operational challenges and user needs into actionable digital transformation recommendations and solutions. Responsibilities - Engage operational units to understand business needs, facilitate discovery workshops and design-thinking sessions, and develop future-state workflows and transformation recommendations - Gather, document and validate requirements, translating them into user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria - Recommend the most appropriate solution pathway, including existing or custom-developed solutions - Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment planning of product delivery - Identify opportunities to streamline processes, conduct workflow analysis and process redesign exercises - Ensure compliance with governance directives, supporting use-case registration, impact assessments and documentation Challenge(s) - Navigating product requirements from users and understanding the military context to deliver operationally relevant digital solutions - Managing a diverse range of stakeholders with competing priorities and expectations, while ensuring alignment to operational outcomes and compliance with governance requirements Requirements - Education in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research or a related discipline is preferred - At least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, digital product delivery or digital transformation is preferred - Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications are preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication and stakeholder management skills (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
