Lead Engineer/Engineer, Home Team Operations Centre Office (HTOC), PMG Nexus

The Lead Engineer/Engineer plays a key role in the delivery, integration, and lifecycle management of Authority’s mission-critical Command and Control (C2) system and digital platforms. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless interoperability, reliable data exchange, and effective integration across complex ecosystem of applications, communication systems, data platforms, operational technologies. As part of the C2 Programme Team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, technology partners to support the implementation and continuous enhancement of enterprise and operational systems, including call management, dispatch, communications, surveillance, geospatial, analytics, and other mission-critical platforms. Responsibilities • Collaborate with users, project teams, vendors and technology partners to deliver project outcomes • Review technical proposals, enhancement requests, change requests, and solution recommendations • Design, implement, and support interfaces and integrations between enterprise applications, operational systems, communications platforms, surveillance systems • Review and validate system integration designs, interface specifications, APIs, and technical architectures proposed by vendors • Support the implementation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and operationalisation of mission-critical ICT systems • Manage data integration, data exchange, and data quality processes across multiple systems • Plan and execute integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and disaster recovery exercises • Identify opportunities to improve system interoperability, operational efficiency, automation and data utilisation • Support the adoption of emerging technologies, including cloud services, AI, advanced analytics, and digitalization initiatives Requirements • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline • Relevant professional certifications in systems integration, networking, cloud technologies, data management, enterprise architecture, or project management will be an advantage • At least 3 years of experience in systems integration, software engineering, ICT project delivery, data engineering, enterprise application support or related fields • Experience working in complex ICT environments involving multiple applications, platforms, communications systems, databases, and infrastructure components • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
