Step 2 · The role
Get ready to embark on a transformative journey with HTX's newly formed xCode function, focusing on the organic in-house development of core software modules for the mission critical and sensitive systems. This new setup aims to achieve greater control, agility and responsiveness to evolving operation needs to the dynamic operating environment for software delivery. As a Head, Strategic Planning and Coordination, you will drive xCode alignment and long-term planning across multiple stakeholder groups. You'll partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmaps while ensuring strategic initiatives receive proper support and resources. Responsibilities • Drive the function's strategic direction to ensure seamless alignment with organisational objectives. • Lead long-term planning initiatives, optimise resource allocation, and spearhead capability development to position the team for sustained success • Build and maintain strong relationship across range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners • Involve in aligning expectations, securing strategic buy-in, and ensuring robust support for key initiatives across the organisation • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to shape roadmaps and future capabilities Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in strategic planning, corporate development, or IT governance • Expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and policy development • Visionary thinking, strong interpersonal skills, team player, decision-making and negotiation abilities, with a self-directed approach to strategic planning All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
