MANAGER / DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, EV REGULATIONS (DATA) Responsibilities You will be part of the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC), a one-stop programme office in LTA responsible for coordinating EV efforts across the Whole-of-Government. The NEVC’s mission is to facilitate EV adoption through efforts to spearhead the regulation and deployment of EV charging systems in Singapore. You will primarily be responsible for initiatives to enable the collection, transmission and publishing of EV charging-related data (e.g. real-time availability and pricing of EV charge points) to improve accessibility to EV charging and promote EV adoption. You will oversee and manage the development of a digital platform comprising a charger planning module, to aggregate and process EV charging-related data and facilitate the planning of EV charger deployment. You will work with our technical partner’s team (comprising system developers and engineers) to complete the remaining development works for the digital platform and conduct user acceptance testing of prototypes, before commissioning the platform for production. You will also oversee the transition of the digital platform into business operations in the steady state, which may include procuring services of outsourced vendors to take over and maintain the platform. In addition to the development of the digital platform, you will be required to collaborate with stakeholders on other activities related to transmitting and publishing data. This will involve coordinating with EV charging operators and our technical partner to perform system integration works, and put in place measures necessary to safeguard system and data security. Requirements • Knowledge preferably in data-related fields (e.g. data engineering) • Be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; you may be required to work on multiple initiatives in the same period • Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details • Experience in managing or developing IT systems and knowledge in EV charging communication protocols are a plus, but not necessary • Able to work collaboratively in a cross functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
