Step 2 · The role
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Communications manager to shape and execute strategic communication strategies to enhance public’s understanding and awareness of LTA’s initiatives and policies. This role focuses on driving impactful publicity through ensuring consistent messages and narratives across all communication platforms. Responsibilities 1. Strategic Communications Planning & Execution • Develop and implement strategic communication to support LTA's long-term objectives and key initiatives/priorities including infrastructure projects, key land transport policy announcements • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between policy intent, operational outcomes, and public communications • Anticipate issues and monitor public sentiment. Officer should be able to identify and plug potential communication gaps 2. Content Strategy & Messaging • Develop key messaging frameworks and narratives for LTA’s strategic initiatives (e.g new MRT lines, roads construction, active mobility, future mobility, sustainability efforts). • Work with internal stakeholders to craft cohesive messages that reflect the LTA's work • Ensure clear and consistent messaging across multiple platforms and communications channels (e.g print, digital, broadcast) 3. Performance Monitoring & Evaluation • Harness data, carry out research/surveys and use these insights to guide and refine communication strategies • Establish metrics, track the effectiveness of communication campaigns using set of KPIs Requirements • Knowledge in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field • At least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in public communications • Strong set of writing and editing skills • Experience with data analysis and stakeholder management is preferred • Understanding and interest in Singapore’s transport landscape is a plus As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment
