Assistant Director (Data Analysis)

You lead a team of analysts in providing longer term and forward-looking data research and analysis into maritime security threats. Responsibilities - Apply data analytic techniques to exploit existing data - Discover new data sources for trending and deeper insights - Apply insights practically to secure the maritime domain - Proactively engage with national agencies and external entities - Ensure team remains current with appropriate technologies Challenge(s) - Being innovative and resourceful in discovering and applying various methods - Collaborating effectively across teams and agencies Requirements - At least 6 years of experience in Data science or analysis-related appointments (e.g., Section Head in Data Science or Joint Research Department or equivalent) - Experience working in a multi-agency or multinational setting is preferred - Strong leadership skills - Good knowledge and experience in maritime terrorist threat missions is advantageous Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
