Step 2 · The role
You drive the planning, engagement and secretariat efforts for the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) Sub-Council (Employer & Business) at the staff level, supporting the Council in shaping its strategic direction and delivering impactful initiatives. Responsibilities - Support the Council in developing its annual direction, focus and objectives - Lead the proposal and the implementation of initiatives - Maintain a keen understanding of the business community - Keep abreast of developments relevant to the Council's work - Propose agendas and organise regular meetings - Coordinate publicity and communications requirements - Manage budgetary requirements Challenge(s) - Navigating the complexities of working with diverse stakeholders, including MINDEF/Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) principals, influential opinion leaders and external agencies, to achieve desired outcomes Requirements - Education in Business or a related field - Prior experience in secretariat work, stakeholder engagement or community relations is advantageous - Strong command of spoken and written English - Good interpersonal and organisational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
