You are responsible for leading and coordinating strategic initiatives to enhance the operational readiness and efficiency of MINDEF/SAF in the realm of cybersecurity. Responsibilities - Provide leadership for the Ministry and its agencies within the cybersecurity domain through the development of appropriate cybersecurity strategies and action plans - Establish policies, standards and procedures in line with Whole-of-Government (WOG) cybersecurity directions - Conduct cybersecurity risk assessment and risk acceptance across the organisation, from stakeholders to end-users and Infocomm Technology (ICT) professionals - Review, endorse and align information security risk management and mitigation plans - Align IT needs with the strategic cybersecurity direction of the whole-of-government - Implement change management processes to keep up with evolving cyber threat landscape Challenge(s) - Balancing MINDEF/SAF internal policy requirements with whole-of-government policy direction - Integrating multi-agency governance, risk and compliance cybersecurity plans and align with WOG Requirements - Education in Information Security, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering-related fields - At least 15 years of experience in related areas such as cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance - Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal skills - Good understanding of both cybersecurity and operations processes - Possession of cybersecurity certifications (i.e., CISSP, CISA and CRISC) is advantageous Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
