The Technical Architecture Office (TAO) is CSA's central authority for technical and architecture governance, driving the technology decisions that underpin Singapore's national cybersecurity posture. As the organisation's subject matter expert on all things technical, TAO plays a pivotal role in ensuring that CSA's architecture and technology investments are strategically aligned, efficiently resourced, and built to last. Responsibilities If you are a technical governance or solution architect professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy and engineering, designing end-to-end solutions, translating complex requirements into robust architectures, and ensuring technology decisions are governed with rigour, then TAO offers you the opportunity to: • Partner with and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders within CSA and beyond, co-creating system designs and solution architectures for cybersecurity systems that deliver real operational impact. • Provide thought leadership on integrated solution design and high-effectiveness architecture, defining how cybersecurity capabilities are structured, interconnected, and sustained at a national level. • Analyse national cybersecurity operational requirements, assess current-state architectures, and co-create next-generation solution designs that deliver integrated operational effects. • Establish and manage a repository of architecture principles, standards, and artefacts that form the backbone of CSA's technical governance framework. • Manage the Architecture Review Board, evaluating solution proposals, managing ongoing architecture change requests, and ensuring clear ownership of architectural decisions across the organisation. Requirements • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation and consulting skills, coupled with strong interest in emerging technology, network security and cybersecurity threat capabilities • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Architect, Network Security, Management Consulting, Threat Risk Assessment and Security Governance • Proven experience translating complex business and operational requirements into scalable, end-to-end solution architectures, with a strong grasp of integration patterns, middleware, and API-driven design. • Demonstrated ability to architect solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with an understanding of how infrastructure, application, and security layers interact at an enterprise scale. • Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing architecture governance processes, such as architecture review boards, design authorities, or technical steering committees. • Familiarity with architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, or SABSA, and the ability to apply them pragmatically in a complex operational environment. • Professional certifications in TOGAF, Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), Integration platforms, or Agile Development are preferred.
