The HTxAI Products team is committed to empower our Home Team Department (HTD)'s flagship projects through the seamless integration of AI technologies. From identifying opportunities to delivery, launch, and continuous enhancement, HTxAI aims to push boundaries and setting new standards in homeland security. The Head, Product Management will lead the product management team in identifying opportunities, developing, managing an array of AI and Digital products in the homeland security space while aligning with HTX’s strategic direction, reporting, and monitoring of AI initiatives that ensure public safety and security by supporting Home Team Department operations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to guide the products through their entire lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensure ongoing improvements. In addition, the Head, Product Management will play a crucial role in fostering a product-focused development culture within HTX. Responsibilities As the Head, Product Management, you will be required to: • Lead product team (s) to develop, update, and prioritize long-term product roadmaps on a regular basis by partnering with stakeholders and users. • Prioritise the delivery of products and product features and define launch parameters such as minimal viable product, versioning, releases, and go-to-market communication. • Collaborate with Solution & Design team to identify and validate problem statements that help agile teams conceptualise or innovate new AI and digital solutions or evolve current AI and digital product features. • Engage cross functional stakeholders by communicating value propositions that deliver digital solutions which optimise resources and reduce time-to-market and cost. • Evaluate and execute commercial opportunities to co-develop solutions or integrating commercially available products to realise product goals. • Recommend and manage appropriate methodologies for user discovery and validation, agile development and testing, and reporting of results on a regular and consistent basis. • Manage cross-functional agile teams that comprise solution and design, engineering, and engagement teams while ensuring alignment on product requirements, feature prioritization and development, and delivery. • Manage team’s resources and work performance and to match individual aspiration with stakeholders’ requirements. Requirements • Postgraduate / Tertiary qualification in information systems, computer science, business, or social sciences. • Min. 5 to 8 years in digital product management or similar role, with experience leading a team of product managers. • Demonstrated success in defining, launching, and scaling a product. • Knowledge of agile development processes and product methodologies such as lean and design thinking. • Technical understanding of digital trends and technologies that include the harnessing of emerging technologies. • Good to have experience in AI-related technologies, AI/ML, Data Science and Data Analytics. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders. • Strong analytical and prioritization skills. • Ability to deal with uncertainty and adapt to changes, with the ability to pivot product strategy as customer needs or business strategy evolve. • Emphatic to user-centric requirements and product usability. • A deep passion for product development and motivated to build great products that bring value to users. • Data-driven in decision making, using data and insights to inform product strategy and priorities features • Supportive and empowering leadership style, with a focus on helping the team to develop, grow and deliver good results. • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to bring a product from ideation to delivery. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
