Manager (Systems Transformation)

You will work closely with industry partners, HR policy and business owners to evaluate and implement the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF)/Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) next-generation HR system with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology. Responsibilities - Chart and plan for the next-generation HR system implementation in collaboration with the Digital & Data Plans team - Optimise the utilisation of SaaS features to ensure HR processes are at the forefront of technological advancement - Provide strategic guidance to business stakeholders on maximising SaaS adoption - Lead the assessment, selection, and deployment of SaaS solutions - Ensure the solutions are aligned with MINDEF/SAF business objectives Challenge(s) - Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices to offer insightful recommendations on leveraging SaaS capabilities in MINDEF/SAF - Managing different stakeholder expectations while navigating the complex and dynamic operating environment - Handling ambiguity arising from complex issues while maintaining good time management in a high-tempo environment Requirements - Education in Human Resource, Information Systems or a related field is preferred - At least 4 years of relevant experience, with proven track record in SaaS technology, IT project management, and/or business process re-engineering is advantageous - Good understanding, knowledge and interest in the latest technology developments in the government and commercial sectors - Excellent critical thinking skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to analyse complex issues and offer sound recommendations Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
