Responsibilities You will oversee the planning, design, and delivery of school sports programmes and initiatives in collaboration with key partners including MOE, MCCY, SpexSG, and schools. Your work will directly contribute to increasing sport participation among the school-going population and support the goals of the Children and Youth Sport Framework. In this role, you will • Lead the development and operationalisation of School Sports Fiesta (SSF) events throughout the year, targeting a minimum of 8 events annually across school clusters, ensuring they are aligned with students' profiles and sporting interests. • Develop SSF event concepts in collaboration with school cluster representatives and principals, securing buy-in and ensuring coherence with SportSG and MCCY's broader objectives of increasing recreational participation and promoting social mixing. • Coordinate with school leaders, national sport associations, and event management companies to secure the necessary resources, facilities, and support for each SSF event within allocated budgets. • Establish feedback and evaluation mechanisms to capture participation data, student experience insights, and operational learnings to drive year-on-year improvements. • Track SSF progress and present updates and recommendations at joint MOE-SportSG Working Committee and Steering Committee meetings. • Develop and maintain an SSF playbook consolidating event concepts, operational guidelines, and lessons learnt to support onboarding of new schools. • Staff the Multi-School CCA Teams (MSCT) joint secretariat with MOE, MCCY, and SpexSG to co-develop the MSCT Grant framework, including eligibility criteria, application processes, funding quantum, and disbursement structures. • Manage end-to-end grant administration for MSCT, including application review, approval workflows, post-activity reporting, and disbursement timelines. • Develop outreach strategies and organise engagement sessions to raise awareness of the MSCT Grant, serving as SportSG's key point of contact for schools seeking guidance. • Support account management for assigned school zones under the School Sports Partnership (SSP) Programme, and propose new initiatives to address gaps in sport participation. • Implement school offerings for GetActive! Singapore and engage schools to participate in broader GASG initiatives including Pesta Sukan. Requirements We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should preferably possess the following; • Related qualification in Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration or Management. • At least 4–6 years of relevant working experience in event or programme planning, development, and execution, preferably in health and wellness education and/or character development for schools. • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging partners across government agencies, schools, and the community. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps and implement operational improvements. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external partners. • Self-motivated, able to multitask, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment. • Adaptable and resourceful in navigating complex, multi-agency work settings. • A genuine passion for sport and its potential to positively impact youth development. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
