You will combine finance knowledge with process redesign, data analytics, digital tools and change management to support better ways of working. Responsibilities Finance Transformation and Process Redesign • Plan, coordinate and carry out assigned process review and transformation projects with finance portfolio owners, including identifying pain points, control gaps, and practical opportunities to streamline workflows. • Develop process maps, future-state workflows, business requirements and implementation plans, and coordinate the implementation of agreed improvements with the relevant teams. • Monitor project progress, issues, dependencies and outcomes, and provide clear updates and recommendations to the Finance Transformation lead and management. • Develop and enhance dashboards, tracking tools and management reports to provide clearer visibility over operations, outstanding items, and key trends. • Strengthen exception reporting and follow-up by identifying unusual transactions, recurring issues and areas requiring attention. Automation and AI-enabled Solutions • Identify, assess and implement suitable workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions for practical finance use cases, such as monitoring, first-level review, data analysis, query support and reporting. • Work with business users, technology teams and relevant governance stakeholders to develop and test solutions, and ensure they are practical, maintainable and aligned with prevailing requirements. Finance System Implementation and Change Readiness • Support the transition to a new financial system across relevant finance modules, including requirements gathering, process and control assessments, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, stakeholder engagement and operational readiness activities. • Review and update internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), control documentation, and develop supplementary quick reference or training materials where needed to support MSE-specific processes and user readiness. Requirements • A recognised degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Data Analytics or a related discipline. • Relevant experience in finance operations, process improvement, project management, data analytics or transformation-related work would be an advantage. • A good understanding of finance processes and internal controls, with the ability to balance operational efficiency, governance and user needs. • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational issues into practical and implementable solutions. • Good project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage workplans, follow through on actions and communicate progress clearly. • Experience with data visualisation, workflow automation or analytical tools, such as Power BI, Power Automate, RPA tools or equivalent platforms, would be an advantage. Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions, user testing or change management would also be useful. • A proactive, collaborative and hands-on mindset, with sound judgement and attention to detail. Why join us You will have the opportunity to work on practical transformation projects across MSE’s finance functions, contribute to a major financial system transition, and help bring useful digital and analytics solutions into day-to-day operations.
