Executive/Senior Executive (Revenue) (Contract)

You will be part of the Finance team handling Accounts Receivable functions. Responsibilities Your responsibilities include the following: • Performing daily bank reconciliation and escalating discrepancies which may indicate underlying system issues to IT or system vendors. • Attending regular meetings with IT and external vendors and providing Finance's operational input. • Assisting in troubleshooting system issues affecting day-to-day Finance operations. • Working with IT and vendors to investigate and resolve operational system issues. • Reviewing system workflows and highlighting gaps or control issues for follow-up. • Providing ground-level operational support for cross-functional system and process improvement initiatives; and • Monitoring system interfaces, identifying failed or incomplete transmissions, and following up with IT and external vendors to ensure timely resolution. Requirements • Areas of study in Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications • Good analytical skills • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel • Independent, confident, meticulous, good communication and interpersonal skills • Proactive, good team player, willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines • Strong accounting knowledge • IT programming skills would be an added advantage • Experience in Workday is preferred. Successful candidate will be employed on an 11-month contract basis. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
