[Intern] Enterprise Digital Products and Platforms Enhancement (on ServiceNow)

You will support the development and enhancement of enterprise digital platforms (PACE) used across the Ministry of National Development (MND). The role focuses on workflow automation, low-code application development, and digital process transformation using platforms such as ServiceNow. The intern will work closely with product managers, business users, engineering managers and developers to design, configure, develop, test and implement workflow solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience. This includes developing workflow forms, business rules, integrations, reports and process automations on ServiceNow platforms. Applicants should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the understanding of programming and software development concepts, with an interest in workflow automation, low-code application development and digital transformation. Knowledge of languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS or similar technologies would be advantageous. The internship provides hands-on exposure to enterprise platforms, application integration, AI-enabled productivity features and government digital transformation initiatives while contributing to MND's capability-building efforts in workflow automation and enterprise platform development. Responsibilities The responsibilities include: - Supporting the configuration, development and testing of workflow solutions on ServiceNow platforms. - Assisting product managers, project managers in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders. - Developing workflow forms, business rules, notifications, approval processes and process automations. - Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and implementation activities. - Assisting in system configuration, administration and platform maintenance activities. - Developing reports and dashboards to support operational monitoring and reporting on PACE. - Supporting integration activities between enterprise systems using APIs and workflow orchestration capabilities. - Exploring and prototyping AI-enabled features to improve staff productivity and user experience. - Preparing user guides, training materials and system documentation. - Participating in business process reviews to identify opportunities for process simplification and automation.
