Step 2 · The role
We are looking for an Organisation Excellence Manager to join our team. You will work closely with senior management and colleagues across URA on issues that cut across the organisation, from corporate planning and governance to organisational transformation and enterprise risk. This role is suited for someone who enjoys making sense of complex issues, working across organisational boundaries and translating strategy into action. You should be comfortable operating at both the strategic and implementation levels. You should be able to engage senior stakeholders, structure ambiguous problems and drive initiatives through to delivery. Responsibilities As an Organisation Excellence Manager, you will take on a portfolio of initiatives. Depending on organisational priorities and your experience, your responsibilities may include the following: • Corporate Planning and Organisational Strategy. Drive URA’s corporate planning process and work with Management in charting URA's strategic direction, translating priorities into corporate plans and ensuring alignment across the organisation. Organise management retreats and staff conferences; • Strategic sensing and coordination. Analyse developments in URA’s operating environment and coordinate cross-cutting Whole-of-Government and Ministry-level issues relevant to URA; • Organisation development and transformation. Identify and drive opportunities to improve how URA works, through strengthening both culture and our processes. Work with departments to improve processes, service delivery and organisational effectiveness, including through digitalisation, AI and business process redesign; • Enterprise performance and governance. Strengthen and implement URA’s governance frameworks, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), incident management and Workplace Safety & Health; • Sustainability. Review URA's organisational ESG efforts and support the implementation of its ESG roadmap; and Board and Management governance. Support effective Board governance and providing secretariat support to the URA Board and Management. Support Board planning and development, including Board meetings, workshops, visits, renewal and related activities. Requirements • Tertiary education in Business Administration, Management, or relevant disciplines • 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in corporate or strategic planning, governance, organisation development or related fields. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at different levels of seniority • Strong critical thinking and writing skills, with the ability to synthesise information from different perspectives • Self-starter with the ability to influence and drive change • An interest in how organisations work and a willingness to identify better ways of achieving outcomes
