[What you will be working on] • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points • Translate research insights into tangible design solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the entire product development lifecycle • Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data analysis • Champion design thinking principles and best practices within GovTech • Contribute to and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products • Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to diverse audiences • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies [What we are looking for] • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field • Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar • Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices • Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design insights • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment • Experience with government or public sector projects is a plus • Lead key projects and making independent decisions that align with user needs and product goals GovTech is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse voices and perspectives, as we believe it is key to innovation.
