[LTA-PT] DEPUTY / MANAGER, BUS INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT Responsibilities Play a pivotal role in transforming our public transport landscape by spearheading the development of bus infrastructure, including integrated transport hubs, bus interchanges and bus depots. Working alongside government agencies, planners, technical professionals, and public transport operators, you will lead the strategic planning, review, and development of critical bus infrastructure projects that will shape the future of public transport in Singapore. Key Responsibilities Include: 1. Planning and Site Assessment Collaborate with planners and relevant agencies to identify and assess the suitability of sites for bus infrastructure. Coordinate the development of the bus infrastructure design, assess commuter connectivity requirements and identify necessary traffic improvements to ensure comprehensive infrastructure coverage around the development. 2. Project Management and Design Oversight Lead project management activities to ensure target milestones are met. Work closely with developers, contractors and project teams to resolve issues arising during development by conducting regular design reviews and progress meetings. Ensure designs are fit for purpose, operations and maintenance friendly and provide pleasant commuter as well as staff experiences. 3. Stakeholder Coordination and Funding Work with relevant divisions to obtain funding approval for infrastructure development and prepare the necessary tender documents. Drive consultations and engagements with relevant stakeholders, including public transport operators, to safeguard design provisions to ensure operational and maintainability needs are met.
