Policy FormulationPolicy & Planningtemporary

[LTA-P&P] SENIOR/TRANSPORT SCIENTIST/PLANNER, BUS STRATEGY, INFRASTUCTURE AND PRIORITY Responsibilities You will be involved in the planning and implementation of bus priority measures (e.g. bus lane and more) to improve bus speeds and reliability. The role requires strong communication and stakeholder engagement to foster understanding and support from the public, local communities and other partners. You will be required to analyse data/ survey results collected, and interpret them to assess and justify the benefits/impact of the proposals. You will prepare engagement / publicity activities for key projects that require stakeholders support and craft and execute communication strategies that effectively communicate the values of the proposals to diverse audiences. You will gather, analyse and synthesise public feedback, and recommend mitigation or communication approaches that balance the needs of different commuter groups. Requirements • Knowledge in any disciplines, preferably in communications, urban planning, transport/Geography , public policy or Civil Engineering • Knowledge/Experience in data analytics, media/communication skills, land use planning, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), transport planning and transport modeling simulation techniques will be an advantage • Excellent communication and writing skills As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment
