Policy FormulationPolicy & Planningcontractmanager

You will be part of a team of policy officers who shape Singapore's manpower strategies and develop labour market policies to help Singaporeans secure meaningful and rewarding employment and be ready for the future of work. Responsibilities • Formulate strategies to enable industries and firms to build a strong local workforce and drive sustainable growth • Study how emerging technologies such as AI are reshaping jobs and skills demand, and design strategies/interventions to empower workers to thrive • Keep a pulse on the labour market and shape support for specific worker segments that may need more help to find good jobs and build sustainable careers, such as fresh graduates and mid-career switchers, as well as vulnerable groups such as Persons with Disabilities. • Enable Singaporeans to develop their skills throughout life and keep up with changing needs for a fulfilling and resilient career, while helping businesses access the talent they need • Strengthen Singapore's training, career and employment services ecosystem, partnering across government and industry to make support more accessible for jobseekers and workers at every career stage. Requirements • Fresh graduates and those with no past policy experience are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant experience will be considered for appointment at higher job grades. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to balance policy objectives against practical realities on the ground • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage a range of stakeholders across Government, trade associations and chambers, and Unions, as well as senior management • A collaborative, proactive mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment and managing uncertainty • Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation is a plus PWDs are welcome to apply.
