Organisation DevelopmentPolicy & Planningcontractmanager

The AI & Data Office (AIDO) drives the adoption of data and artificial intelligence across the Ministry of Manpower. As a Manager, you will contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives that strengthen data capabilities, support AI adoption, and enable innovation across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify needs, deliver projects and support the implementation of data- and AI-related programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of policy, operations, technology and data transformation. Responsibilities • Support the planning and delivery of data, analytics and AI initiatives. • Engage stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. • Coordinate projects involving data, analytics and emerging technologies. • Support the development of organisational policies, frameworks and processes related to data and AI. • Assist in capability-building efforts through workshops, engagement sessions and training initiatives. • Conduct research and environmental scanning on emerging trends in data and AI. • Monitor project progress, risks and outcomes, and provide recommendations for improvement. • Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver strategic initiatives. Requirements • Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, Public Policy, Engineering, or related disciplines. • Relevant experience in project management, digital transformation, analytics, AI, data management, policy development, or stakeholder engagement. • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Interest in emerging technologies and their application in the public sector. • Experience with data analytics, AI initiatives, or digital transformation projects will be advantageous.
