Policy FormulationPolicy & Planningcontractmanager

The Assurance, Care and Engagement Group (ACE), a division under the Ministry of Manpower, improves the well-being of migrant workers by enhancing the healthcare, housing and social aspects of the migrant worker landscape. The Care Policy branch of the Medical Policy Department under ACE Group formulates, implements and reviews preventive health (including mental health) and primary care policies and programmes to improve the health of the migrant workers (MWs). You will work closely with departments within ACE group and various stakeholders to build a supportive health ecosystem for migrant workers. Responsibilities • Plan, review, develop, and implement preventive health (including mental health) and primary care policies covering common health risk factors and conditions affecting MWs, especially those residing in the dormitories. This includes the development and/or curation of health education and training curriculum and materials • Partner stakeholders such as Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and other agencies in health education, health programmes implementation and training efforts, as well as to ensure systems integration to ensure appropriate continuity of care. • Prepare proposals to secure resources for implementation of approved policies and plans • Conduct reviews and evaluation of implemented policies and programmes Requirements • Tertiary qualification, background in healthcare will be an advantage • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Relevant experience policy writing, planning will be an advantage
